Every 20 emblems you get a new 2 player selection (not including character)
To get metal characters
You hold A + Y wile making a choice for your character. keep holding A+Y untill the level the you slected pops up.
To get metal charters for single player mode
Get 141 emblems and to the same thing above to get them.
To get to metal sonic get all the chaos emerolds
To get hard mode you get all A's
